For $10 this toy is an absolute steal! Although the price for the toy was cheap, I found the actual design and substance of the toy to be even cheaper. Although it's only $40, I found that the total lack of functionality overlooks the fact that it "has" so many functions. As a first try with a new toy? Absolutely fine. The Swan Sceptre feels royal. It’s massive—the head is the size of my palm. And the vibrations are out of this world. They call their most intense setting “Earthquake Mode,” you could definitely measure it on the Richter Scale. Most toys that offer dual stimulation, clitoral and penetration, lack in at least one department. But not the Sceptre. The insertable length is actually long enough to insert. I am so happy with this wand. As with all near perfect toys, there are downsides. The insertable end doesn’t vibrate, it seems like a missed opportunity to me. And the buttons are horribly laid out. I’ve checked the website and user manual to confirm, but the top button has a “power” symbol on it, though it controls the speed. The bottom button button is the on/off switch and doesn’t affect speed at all. It’s just odd and it feels like the construction might have been off. Also, the lowest vibration setting is still quite intense—that’s not a complaint, just a warning to some users.

This is a weird little toy. I’ve told you guys before that I judge sex toys by their cover. It’s not something I’m proud of, and I’ve been proven wrong many times. You can have lifelike and you can have bright colors, you cannot have them both and expect me to like it. A pastel would have been wonderful and an earth tone would have been even better. I’m not saying it can’t be colorful. I am saying that it cannot look and feel like a children’s slime tube. Aesthetics aside, let's discuss performance. First, it required batteries, but once we got past that annoyance and into playtime it did absolutely nothing for me. It was so soft and gooey. It doesn’t target your G-spot, and the handle is too short to maneuver. And while the veins and ribbing were nice, they were not as stimulating as I’m sure they were meant to be. For $24 you're getting the bare essentials, at least in this case. No fun add-ons or surprises like the others, save the fact that they were still kind enough to include the battery for the remote which is always awesome. Of the 5 I ordered, this one is the least comfortable and arousing, yet still capable of getting me to completion, albeit a much slower one than the others. That's not to say that it still couldn't set of fireworks for someone else! I just find that the 3 prior to this one did the job better for me personally.
